Here are the key factors, in particular about the ways, which will allow for a limited reopening of the squash courts from Saturday 8 August 2020. This forms our Covid-19 secure plan.

1. We need a rigorous Test & Trace procedure, so there will be a new court booking system to allow for safe entry/exit – full details will be provided nearer the time
2. By attending, you are confirming that you have undertaken a pre-attendance symptom check and are not displaying any symptoms of Covid-19
3. Changing facilities should only be used for toilet and hand washing facilities – you should arrive changed and ready for play, and take all bags and equipment on to court with you
4. Only solo play, or two players in a modified format, eg ‘Sides’ or practice drills with only one person touching the ball, is permitted
5. On arrival, use the hand sanitizer provided at the entrance
6. During play, do not use the walls to dry hands, and maintain a safe distance from your playing partner at all times
7. At the end of play, please assist with the hygiene of facilities by disinfecting touch points, such as door handles, using the spray provided at the hygiene station inside the front door
8. Leave the building straight after play, using the hand sanitizer again on exit – changing room and showers should not be used

Please follow all general social distancing guidelines and other Government advice at all times.

The squash courts are now available to book for those who want solo practice, or modifed play with another individual. Please remember to abide by the rules previously detailed.

There are a few changes to the booking process, which will now be on ClubSpark. This is the same system used for your membership subscription so you should have a login.

To book courts:

1. Go to the Club website homepage
2. Click on Members at the bottom of the page
3. Password is C2165Y
4. Click on ‘Book a squash court’
5. Login to your ClubSpark account
6. Use ‘Forgotten password?’ if required

Please remember that courts are only available on a limited basis as a trial until 30 August 2020: Saturday from 0900-1500, Sunday 0900-1500, Monday 0900-1300, Wednesday 1700-2100.

Courts are only bookable on the hour to allow safe exit and entry between bookings – the booking slot will display as 30 minutes, but you can play for up to 45 minutes.

Changing facilities should only be used for toilet and hand washing – you should arrive changed and ready for play, and take all bags and equipment on to court with you.

Leave the building straight after play – changing rooms and showers should not be used. Use the disinfectant on touch points and the hand sanitizer provided as required.
