Squash Courts
We are aware of some black marks on the floor of Court 1, which appear to have occurred towards the end of last week. We’ll be working to clear these this week. Please remember that non-marking footwear should be worn at all times in the squash courts. Please check with me, or another squash member, if you are unsure.

Tennis Courts
We are also aware that one of the floodlights is out on the court 6/7 block, as well as another playing up occasionally. The good news is that we have decided to take this opportunity to upgrade the lights to LED, which will bring all courts up to this standard. Unfortunately, there is a lead time of around 8 weeks to order the fittings and then schedule the work, so it is likely to be completed early in the new year. Hopefully, you can bear with us in the meantime.
Some of the tennis nets and fittings have gotten a bit damaged too, so we’ll be replacing some nets, bands and hooks this week.

Music
Tennis member David Burrow asks would anyone be interested in forming a band, trio or duo to do covers! He plays bass guitar & guitar so most music considered. David organised several music events prior to the Covid lockdowns, and hopes to do so again. Please contact him at dburrow01@gmail.com.
