Sadly, longstanding tennis member Duncan Dunnett informed me that his wife Maria Amaro died of cancer last month. Some members may have been aware that she had been ill for a couple of years, and Duncan was concerned that those who know him were made aware of her passing. Our thoughts are with Duncan and his family.

Floodlighting – Tennis Courts 6 & 7
Just a reminder that the final set of old-style floodlighting on courts 6 & 7 is scheduled to be replaced over Tuesday 7 – Wednesday 8 March.
This will mean that there will be very limited court availability on Tuesday evening. If you have a court booked that you no longer need, please cancel so that another member can book. If all goes to plan the courts will reopen at 4pm on Wednesday.

Kent Tennis news
It was great to see that two former members were recognized with awards by Kent LTA last month: Brett Spencer-Stephens for Performance Coach and Andy Burgoyne for the Lifetime Achievement Award.
