Tennis member Vikki Chambers has recently joined the Club Board of Directors, so I thought it would be useful to remind members about volunteer opportunities to participate in the development of the Club. You can email me for more information on any of the below.

Board of Directors
The Board has oversight of club management and strategic planning, for example development of facilities, and is currently led by Club Chair Gillian Bartlett who is a tennis member. You can contact her directly at gillian.bartlett@sltcc.co.uk.
The remainder of the current board consist of squash member Simon Taylor, who is both Club Secretary & Squash representative; and tennis members Ray Franklin (Finance Director), Vikki Courtney (Marketing & Membership), Keith McMillan (Bar & Events), Katharine Beaudry (Tennis rep), and Vikki Chambers (Premises).
You may know some of these people, but information about the Board members and responsibilities will soon be going on display in the clubhouse foyer.

Working Committees
There are also several committees who represent members’ views on various matters, as well as helping to organise activities and events, such as the annual club tournaments.
The Tennis section committee is chaired by Katharine Beaudry, the Squash section committee by Simon Taylor, and the Bar committee by Keith McMillan.
We are always on the look out for more support, so please let me know if you are interested in joining one of the committees.

Club Manager Hours
I will be available at the Club the following hours between 18 – 24 March: Saturday from 0900-1030, Sunday 0900-1500, Monday 1200-2100, Tuesday 0900-1500, and Friday 0900-1330. During these times you can obtain drinks & snacks from the bar, as well as balls & accessories, and hire the Slinger ball machine.
Remember that the bar is open Tuesday to Thursday evening from 6-30-9.30pm.
