Annual Club Tournament Finals Day – Saturday 16 September 2023
The culmination of the annual competitions that started back in May. Tennis finals start at 11.00am and play through to around 5.00pm: Men’s & Women’s Singles, Men’s & Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles – first played for in 1900 – plus 40 & over Men’s Singles, 60 & over Mixed Doubles, Men’s & Women’s Plate events, and the Roger De Klerk Memorial Trophy for Improver/Intermediate level players. Presentations will take place around 6.00pm.
Squash finals start at 11.30am with the Plate event, followed by the Open Singles and presentations at 1.30pm. The Women’s 45 & over Singles and Men’s 55 & over will be played earlier in the week due to scheduling, but presented on Finals Day.
The bar will open from 10.30am with sandwiches and cakes available to buy from lunchtime. Look out for the full schedule from 11 September on the Club noticeboards and come along to watch – it’s always a great day!

Club Manager Hours
I will be available at the Club the following hours between 9 – 15 September: Saturday from 0900-1500, Sunday 0900-1500, Monday 0900-1500 & 1900-2200, and Friday 0900-1800. During these times you can obtain drinks & snacks from the bar, as well as balls & accessories, and hire the Slinger ball machine.Remember that the bar is open Monday to Thursday evening from 7.00-10.00pm.
