Women’s Doubles Drop-in – Friday 20 October 2023
A reminder that the new drop-in session for all women members, that was washed out last week, is scheduled again tonight on courts 6 & 7 from 6.00-8.00pm.
Turn up, and team up, for some friendly, competitive matchplay. Balls are provided. The weather forecast looks a bit more favourable this week!

Halloween Quiz Night – Friday 27 October 2023
There are a few places still left for the Halloween edition of our popular quiz night. Join regular host Jeff Richards for an evening of fun with family and friends – the bar will be open from 6.30pm with the quiz starting at 7.30pm.
To book please contact Jeff on 07769565095 or at jeff.richards@rcn.org.uk with your name and, if you are entering a team, your team’s name and the number of people in the team (max 6). Entry: Adults £3 – Children £2 – payable on the night.

Squash Courts
The works on the squash courts has progressed really well this week. However, there were a couple of unforeseen issues that mean that the courts will be out of action a little longer than expected.
The good news is that the court 2 west wall, where the crack had occurred, has now been fully replastered rather than patched. Court 1 should now reopen on Monday evening, and court 2 on Wednesday 25 October.

Club Manager Hours
I will be available at the Club the following hours between 21 – 27 October: Saturday from 0900-1030, Sunday 0900-1500, Monday 0900-1500, and Friday 0900-1800. During these times you can obtain drinks & snacks from the bar, as well as balls & accessories, and hire the Slinger ball machine.
Remember that the bar is open Monday to Thursday evening from 7.00-10.00pm.
