What a fabulous fortnight of tennis we’ve just had at Wimbledon, with a fantastic
result. Well done Andy Murray!
If you’re feeling a bit bereft now it’s all over – worry not! We have our own tournament going on, with Finals’ Day happening on 20th July.
There’ll be some great finals to watch during the day , with food and drink available for purchase to help you enjoy your experience even more. Watch out for order of play notices around the club so you know when it all kicks off.
And once all play is done for the day, it’ll be time to party! We’re asking members to bring a dish of food to share (remember last year – the food was spectacular! ) trophies will be given out after we’ve eaten and then a DJ has been booked to help us dance the night away. We will be asking for a donation of £5 from members to cover costs for the evening.
DAYTIME
- Matches played throughout the day – details of the order of play can be found here
- Food available for purchase, supplied by the club. No need to bring a dish
- Bar Open from 11am serving teas, coffees, soft drinks, alcohol etc
EVENING
- Doors open at 7.30pm with food from 8pm – please contribute dishes to share
- Presentation of trophies from 9pm
- Dance the night away from 9.30-11.30pm
