We are making it easier for you to pay your subscriptions!
From 1st January 2014 all adult playing members will have the option to spread payment of their membership subscriptions over three months (for amounts under £100) or six months (for amounts over £100) – or make a single payment – when they pay by direct debit. Making paying your subscriptions a whole lot easier.
And Juniors and social members will continue to be able to pay their subscriptions by direct debit as a single payment.
Why are we making this change now?
This change has been made possible thanks to a new LTA initiative, developed in conjunction with specialist direct debit processor, RSM 2000, which gives small tennis clubs access to affordable automated direct debit processing. Under this new scheme the club will be able to reduce significantly the cost and administration involved in collecting subscriptions. This will allow us to offer all adult playing members the option to pay over an extended period. Something we haven’t been able to do up until now.
Already pay by direct debit?
If you already pay your subs by direct debit, we will be asking you to complete a new direct debit mandate when your subscription comes up for renewal in 2014. Please help us make this change over as trouble-free as possible by returning your new direct debit mandate as soon as you can.
And from 1st January, we will be sending your renewal notice by email rather than by post. So watch out for your renewal reminder coming into your inbox in future.
Paying by cheque, electronic bank transfer or cash
The club will continue to accept payments by cheque and electronic bank transfer (internet banking) and cash, but from 1st January 2014 we are introducing an administration charge of 5% to do so.
Pay by direct debit – it’s more convenient and you will save money too!
