Direct debits – a better way to pay!
Simple, convenient and safe, direct debit is also the cheaper way to pay your subscription because the club now makes a 5% charge for payments by cheque, bank transfer and cash. So when it comes to renewing your membership it makes sense to pay by direct debit.
Spread the cost of your subscription
Not only is direct debit more convenient and cheaper it also enables members to spread the cost of their subscription over several months at no extra cost. For the first time, the club is able to offer all adult playing members the option to pay over six months – for amounts over £100 – or three months – for all other amounts. Or you can choose to make a single payment if you prefer.
Already paying by direct debit?
If you already pay your subs by direct debit we will need you to provide a new direct debit mandate so that we can transfer your payment details to our new direct debit processor. And if you’re not currently spreading your payments and would like to in the future, or you would like to change the number of payments you make, let us know by emailing info@sltcc.co.uk.
Junior and social membership subscriptions can also be paid by direct debit
Junior or social subscriptions can be pay by direct debit in a single payment.
Setting up your new direct debit
You can set up a new direct debit now by downloading a mandate form or you can wait until you next renew. When you return your mandate please provide it in hard copy format as we can’t accept mandates electronically. Completed mandates should be left in the Membership Secretary’s pigeon hole in the club house foyer or returned by post to The Membership Secretary, Sydenham Tennis Club, Lawrie Park Road SE26 6ET. Once your mandate has been set up you will receive notification of your scheduled payments by email.
Paying by cheque, cash or bank transfer
If you would still like to pay by cheque, cash or bank transfer, please contact club at info@sltcc.co.uk for further details.
