We are looking for volunteers to help with Open Day. So if you can spare some time on the day or before please read on!
Open Day is the club’s most important event for recruiting new members. Last year we had over 160 people visit the club on Open Day and we recruited 45 new members, all thanks to our volunteers who generously gave time to help on the day and/or distribute publicity leaflets.
As little as half-an hour of your time
Helping with Open Day needn’t take much time – it could be as little as half-an-hour or as much as three hours – whatever you can spare.
We need volunteers to help with any of the following:
- Distributing publicity flyers to local businesses and at Forest Hill and Sydenham stations – we know flyers play an important role in getting people along on the day.
- Helping on the day – Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May – with any of the following – hitting with visitors, manning the registration table and/or meeting and greeting in the hall, helping visitors find their way around.

Open Day is a fun family day packed with activities for all the family and opportunities to try tennis, squash racketball and croquet all for free. So please spread the word amongst your family, friends, colleagues and anyone else who may be interested.
