Yes, it’s the Racketball climax of the year – The Racketball Cup
– starting at 10.15 am on Sunday 2nd June.

10. 15 am League Two Final
Peter Lewis v Sean Barron (will Robber Barron carry off the silverware yet again hoping to prove to his doubting kinsfolks back in Killarney that he’s a “great sportsman”) ? Or will the wily Club Chair be hoping to come from behind once again?

11 am League One Plate
It’s Harry v Barry once again. The question is whether more energy will be spent on the game itself or on disputing calls and challenging opponents. My money’s on the latter. Bring your earplugs and a copy of the rulebook.

11. 30 am League One Final
Will the consistent Ian Moody (“I’ve never been in a final before”) hold his nerve against Paul (my entire wardrobe consists of rugby shirts) Lindsay. This is going to be a close one!

The good news is that Peter Edwards is now fully recovered from his injury in Egypt involving a belly dancer and a camel and will be there on Sunday to ensure fair play.

See you on Sunday!
