We are organising an American Tournament on Friday 31st July.  This is a fun mixed social event which is open to all tennis members whatever their playing level.  It is sure to be popular and places are limited, so if you would like to take part, don’t delay;  enter now!

What is an American tournament?
An American tournament is a round robin doubles competition in which particpants are divided into two groups and initial pairings are selected at random.  Short sets are played on a rotational basis and the top two players from each group play in the final with a small prize for the winners. How to enter
There is an entry form on the bar door in the club house.  Only the first 20 people are guaranteed to play with two reserves.  If you are unable to get to the club to enter your name, please e-mail Susan at susan.finch@sltcc.co.uk and she will do this for you.

Entry is £7 per person payable on the day and includes a welcome glass of Pimms and a hot dog at the end of the tournament.

On the day
All players should arrive by 6.45 pm so that initial pairings can be organised and play will start at 7pm sharp   Please note that latecomers will forfeit their place in the tournament.
