We are making some changes to Sunday Improver club play

As many of you will know, since September a small band of club volunteers has very kindly facilitated Improver club play on Sundays. Due to their efforts we have been able to keep the session running throughout the winter months and even build the number of members coming to play. So many thanks to all our facilitators for giving their time so generously.

New summer format
Facilitated club play was always intended to be a temporary arrangement  and now that spring has well and truly arrived and more people are dusting off their racquets, we will be reverting to the previous unfacilitated club play format over the summer.

Courts 6 and 7 will continue to be allocated to Sunday Improver club play between 1pm and 4pm and all improver members are invited to turn up and mix-in to play with other members as before.

Collect free balls from the bar 
The club will continue to provide three new balls per court. From today the free balls can be collected from the bar – which is now open every day – between 1pm and 2pm.  Any improver member arriving for club play is welcome to drop into the bar and obtain the allocated balls from the bar staff.
