Club activities & maintenance
The tennis coaching programme will restart from Thursday 8 September, so we are scheduling some maintenance and improvement work early next week.
Tennis courts 6 & 7 are being decompacted and relevelled on Monday and Tuesday, and a new path to tennis courts 1 & 2 from the squash court building entrance is being laid. This should help when this area gets wet in the winter months.
Also, Tuesday morning club play will recommence on 6 September from 0930-1130.

Alastair Putt
Sadly, I have to announce the passing of squash & racketball member Alastair Putt on 12 August 2022. He was very active in the section, current Volunteer of the Year, a member of the S&R committee, and ran the internal leagues and competitions for several years.

Club Manager Hours
I will be available at the Club over the following hours between 3 – 9 September: Tuesday from 0900-1500, Wednesday 0900-1500, and Friday 0900-1500. During these times you can obtain drinks & snacks from the bar, as well as balls & accessories, and hire the Slinger ball machine.
Remember that the clubhouse bar is open Tuesday to Thursday from 1830-2130.
