New Year closure and reopening
A reminder that apart from my listed hours at the Club, which you will find at the bottom of the newsletter, the bar/clubhouse will remain closed next week.
There are maintenance works being completed in the clubhouse this coming week, including painting, so please be aware of notices around the building. The bar will reopen with the Quiz Night on Friday 6 January 2023 – see below.
Club play sessions will restart on Tuesday 3 January 2023. Regular coaching will recommence on Saturday 7 January, and Drop-in sessions are available to book online. Team Training will begin again on Tuesday 10 January.

Christmas/New Year Quiz – Friday 6 January 2023
There are still places left for the Christmas/New Year edition of our popular quiz nights. Join regular host Jeff Richards for an evening of fun with family and friends – the bar will be open from 6.30pm with the quiz starting at 7.30pm. Let’s make the first event of 2023 a great success!
You can enter as a team or an individual. To book please contact Jeff on 07769565095 or at jeff.richards@rcn.org.uk with your name and, if you are entering a team, your team’s name and the number of people in the team (max 6). Don’t worry if you can’t make up a team or would like to come on your own – Jeff will allocate you to a team on the night. Entry: Adults £3, Children £2 – payable on the night.

Club Manager Hours
I will only be available at the Club over the following hours between 31 December – 6 January: New Year’s Day from 0900-1200, Tuesday 0900-1500, and Thursday 0900-1200. During these times you can obtain drinks & snacks from the bar, as well as balls & accessories, and hire the Slinger ball machine.
However, subject to the weather, all squash and tennis courts will be open to book and play as usual.
