Squash building works
Further to my previous communication regarding the structural work to the squash court building, I can confirm the first schedule of works for April.
The support work to the foundations will take place from Monday 3rd to Wednesday 5th April. This work involves injecting geopolymer under the building around the south and west walls. There will be no requirement to close the building and it will be accessible as usual.
Following this, the work to repair and stabilise the external south and west walls will begin week commencing Monday 17th April. The scaffolding will go up on Friday 14 April. During these works please ensure that you do not enter the secure area around the building.
The internal crack on court 2 will then be repaired week commencing 24 April. This will mean that the court will be unavailable to book for approximately a week. Hopefully, we will be able to reopen the court for play on Tuesday 2 May.
Whilst all this work is undertaken, please can you be aware of contractors on site and look out for any marked secure areas to avoid.
