Bar opening hours
With the weather, hopefully, improving, we will be extending the bar opening hours for the Spring/Summer. From Monday 17 April, hours will be as follows: Monday to Thursday from 6.30-9.30pm, plus Saturday & Sunday from 9.00-3.00pm when I am on site – check hours each week at the end of the newsletter.
Remember that, apart from a great range of drinks and snacks, we have a new coffee machine, and sell balls and accessories too. Drinks can be taken outside into the grounds, where there is a lovely seating area adjacent to court 1 to watch the tennis.
If you haven’t been into the bar before, please come in and meet Abbie and Matt, our two Bar/Reception assistants.
Defibrillator & First Aid
The Club has a defibrillator on the wall immediately inside the squash court building. It is in a bright orange case. Whilst all of the coaching and management team are first aid trained, it is important to understand that anyone can use the defibrillator in an emergency situation.
The device is fully automated once switched on, so you can simply follow the instructions. However, if you would like more information regarding use, please follow the link to St John Ambulance guidance here.
Also, a reminder that you will find first aid kits in both the clubhouse foyer and squash building entrance, which can be utilized for minor injuries when no member of staff is on site.
Annual Club Tournaments
A final call that this is the last weekend for entries into the annual Club tournaments, which will run over the summer. Squash and tennis tournaments will again run alongside each other this year with Finals Day for both on Saturday 16 September 2023.

Club Manager Hours
I will be available at the Club the following hours between 15 – 21 April: Saturday from 0900-1500, Sunday 0900-1500, Monday 0900-1500, Tuesday 1300-2100 and Thursday 0900-1500. During these times you can obtain drinks & snacks from the bar, as well as balls & accessories, and hire the Slinger ball machine.
Remember that the bar is open Tuesday to Thursday evening from 6-30-9.30pm.
