Wimbledon Quiz Night – Friday 30 June
Dust off your thinking caps for the Pre-Wimbledon edition of our popular quiz nights. Join regular host Jeff Richards for an evening of fun with family and friends – the bar will be open from 6.30pm with the quiz starting at 7.30pm. Book early to secure your place as numbers are limited.
You can enter as a team or an individual. To book please contact Jeff on 07769565095 or at jeff.richards@rcn.org.uk with your name and, if you are entering a team, your team’s name and the number of people in the team (max 6). Don’t worry if you can’t make up a team or would like to come on your own – Jeff will allocate you to a team on the night. Entry: Adults £3 – Children £2.

Volunteers’ Week 1-7 June
This event is a timely reminder to members that, although there is a professional team running the Club day to day, there are still volunteer opportunities to participate in the development of the Club.
There is a Board of Directors supported by a group of working committees – Bar & Events, Squash/Racketball, and Tennis – all have input into the organisation of the Club.
At the Club AGM, in November this year, volunteers are eligible for consideration for recognition awards. These are nominated by fellow members, so keep an eye out for details nearer the time.
We are always on the look out for more volunteers, so please let me know if you are interested in more information.

Bar – French Open Tennis
We will continue to show play from the French Open Championships in the bar during opening times next week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 6.30-9.30pm.

Club Manager Hours
I will be available at the Club the following hours between 3 – 9 June: Saturday from 0900-1200, Monday 1330-1930, Thursday 0900-1500, and Friday 1000-1600. During these times you can obtain drinks & snacks from the bar, as well as balls & accessories, and hire the Slinger ball machine.
